The main part of the engine with which the cylinder is connected and a crankshaft and crankshaft bearing it’s is called crankcase. It works as a lubrication system. It is also called oil sump. It’s placed works to lubrication all the oils.
Valves are used to control the engine’s internal combustion entrance and drainage. How much an engine valve will depend on the engine cylinder. It is used for mixing fuel and air and another valve is used for expel the burning gas out. Valves are fitted on the cylinder head, by strong spring. Two valves serve as gateways.
The spark plug is used in a spark ignition engine. The spark plug is fitted on the cylinder head. The spark plug build of a metal shell having two electrodes which are separate from each other with an air gap. When high potent current supply to the spark plug, then it jumping from the supply electrode and produces the spark.
The injector is usually used for compression ignition engine. when the compression strokes end. Then the injector sprays the fuel into the combustion chamber. The injector is fitted on the cylinder head. It acts as the main part of the engine’s internal combustion.
The main work of manifold is to supply the air-fuel mixture. Then collects the exhaust gases from all cylinder. Then collects the exhaust gases from all cylinder. There are two manifold parts of the internal combustion engine. One is to use for intake and exhaust the other. The manifold is made by multiple aluminum. It acts as the main part of the engine’s internal combustion.
The camshaft is used to control the opening and closing of valves at proper timing for IC Engine. It is part of piston. The camshaft is a part of the engine that inserts the mixture of fuel and air into the cylinder and leaving it drainage gas. Since it is a process that is repeated every few thousand times per second, it is important to have a good camshaft. Camshafts have different configurations and they are slightly different in each job. As well as standard Camshaft, which is below the engine, there are overhead camshafts and dual overhead camshafts.
14. Piston pin:
The Gudgeon pin or piston pin is used to connect the piston to the connecting rod. It is a very difficult job to do design. The Piston is kept to the right size. Because It works in more temperature, so be sure to fit properly. So that the piston can travel inside the cylinder. Therefore, to overcome these problems, mechanical components are available by utilizing more labor force.
This is the main functional part of the engine. Which is connected to the Crankshaft of the engine? The energy produced by the engine comes in the flywheel by Crankshaft. As a result, during the stroke, the flywheels rotate and the engine is replaced energy to shafts by flywheels. That is to say, chemical energy is converted into mechanical energy.

After the burning force is completed, high temperature and abundant pressure force are created. Using some mechanisms, the pressure is used to rotate the car’s wheel. Important main Parts of an Internal Combustion Engine:
The Cylinder block, Cylinder head, Piston, Piston rings, Connecting rod, Crankshaft, Engine bearing, Engine bearing, Valves, The Spark plug, The Injector, The Manifold, Camshaft, Gudgeon pin or piston pin, The Push rod, Flywheel.
The Cylinder block
The cylinder block is the main part of a machine. A cylinder is a part that takes energy and produces heat. Cylinder block can guide the piston. As it is directly connected to the product, so it needs to be cooled. For cooling the cylinder, a water jacket is
used or fan is used for cooling. At the bottom end crankcase is bolted and At the upper end of the cylinder, the cylinder head. There is a burning chamber on top of the cylinder. As the pressure and temperature are made by fuel ignition, so the chamber materials must be high quality. So high grade cast iron is used to create engines
The Cylinder head
Two holes are kept on the cylinder head, one-hole use for takes fuel and other hole use for exhaust. Two valves are used to control intake fuel and exhaust. The inlet exhaust valve, valve, injector, spark plug etc. The cylinders are bolted over the head. the cylinder block is use for to seal the cylinder head and not to allow entry and exit of gases on cover head valve engine. The cylinders are made by casting the head by iron or aluminum. The Cylinder head is built by forging or casting.
The piston is the main part of an engine and the support of Crank Shaft is connected with a connecting rod. The piston’s basic structure can be divided into top, head and skirt. The main part of piston top flame and its shape is related to the size of the chamber of combustion.
A piston-cylinder should have a proper fit so that it can freely travel inside the cylinder. If the cylinder and piston are a tight fit, then it will become very hot so that the cylinders will be stuck inside. If the loss is too much then the air will get out and the pressure will be reduced. The piston is decorated with a fine seal fit and the piston ring among the piston and cylinder. This ring is entitled into grooves which have been chopped in the piston.
The Connecting rod:
The Connecting rod is an important parts of IC Engine. By sending the power produced by the cylinder head to Crankshaft, it is called connecting rod. Connecting rod connects the piston to the Crankshaft, so we get the rotation speed from Crankshaft. The Connecting rod converts the reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotary motion of the crankshaft. The piston has two connecting ends, one edge is smaller and the other end is bigger. The small edge is connected to the piston and the big edge is connected to the crankshaft. These are connected using piston pins. The connecting rods are made of chrome, nickel, and chrome vanadium steels. The engines which are small in size, the connecting rods are usually made of aluminum.

The crankshaft is called the heart of the engine. Crankshaft works as a powerful part of the engine. It transmits power of the engine to the flywheel. The reciprocating trend of piston turns into a revolving speed by Crankshaft. The crankshaft is connected through the bearing. As a result, the crankshaft can easily rotate. Crankshaft’s size and shape depending on the number and layout of cylinders. The crankshaft is usually manufactured by forging steel. There is a need of bearing in the engine where there are rolling parts. The bearing can works easily to moving parts of engine.
The crankshaft is supported by bearing. The large part of the connecting rod is attached to the bearing by the crank pin. Crankshaft can turn into bearing. The main functions of bearings to reduce friction in these moving parts. Sliding and rolling types are used in the engine. The sliding type bearing are called bush.
